The Stellar Collection was first inspired by some time I spent in Australia when I came across Quartz with gold inclusions for the first time. I loved the contrasting tones of the rough with the smooth. On a subsequent trip to a gemstone fair in Germany I was really excited to come across Slate Pyrite - gold and black in one stone is such a dramatic combination and lends itself so well to jewellery.
It is a great ethical gemstone choice as it is mined in countries such as Spain and Germany.
