Spring is in the air this week with temperatures set to peak at the moderate (but great for England) temperature of 18 degrees. I bet those who attended Cheltenham Race Week down the road wish this weather had arrived sooner. The Cotswolds comes to life at this time of year and Tetbury is no exception.
Tetbury has Royal connections and King Charle's private residence of Highgrove is situated just a few minutes drive from Tetbury. Spring is arguably the best time to visit the gardens there. Book a tour or even afternoon tea.
There is also a Highgrove shop in Tetbury which sells branded items you will love to gift.
We have just put together our English Icons collection which celebrates our pieces inspired by the English countryside and coastline.

Keeping to the theme of Royalty, Taylor Black recently became a stockist of the jewellery of Catherine Zoraida. Catherine is also based in the Cotswolds and her work has long been admired and worn by Kate Middleton, HRH the Princess of Wales. For example her Fern earrings.
The Cotswolds may be land locked but I spend a lot of time in Cornwall and the coastline is also dear to us Brits. The Taylor Black shell necklaces were cast from an actual shell found on the beach in Cornwall. These necklaces look great with a simple white t-shirt and ooze the appeal of sunnier days. My personal favourite is the one that features an Albert Swivel clasp.
One of the best sellers is the Apple Necklace. Such an icon of England but also one that symbolises health, happiness and love. I find this is a popular choice for gifts including Christenings with so much symbolism behind it.
Arguably one of the most enduring icons of all that is English is the rose with the Tudor Rose being the national flower of England. The rose also features in the logo of Taylor Black at the top of the flower crown. A popular chocie for those looking for a souvenir of their time in England too.
