Commissions
I am always happy to receive enquiries for bespoke jewellery. I take pride in the personal and approachable service I offer and I really enjoy this aspect of my job.
With my design and making expertise I guide you through the whole process; be it for an entirely new piece or remodelling something you already own.

The process
The first stage is to get in touch with Philippa with an outline of your requirements. This can either be over email, the phone or in person! We will then agree the basics of your brief and Philippa will follow up with an idea of the cost and often a visual overview of the desired style / outcome.
After both agreeing to progress, Philippa can then finalise the cost and if relevant provide you with a CAD (computer-aided-design) to help bring your design to life. When happy to progress to making, a deposit is taken (usually 60%). The balance is payable on completion. Commissions are understandably non-refundable.
Budget is always a consideration and I will help make suggestions to keep this in line with your expectations. Any owned gold / platinum can be credited to the cost.
Bespoke and remodelling
Commissions are typically to create entirely new pieces but I am also very experienced in remodelling jewellery that isn't quite to your liking; including resetting stones in heirloom pieces you may have inherited. In my opinion, jewellery should be worn and if you have pieces hidden away that you don't ever wear don't be overly sentimental and consider giving them a new lease of life.
It is perfectly normal to require stone sourcing as part of your brief and I have a huge range of contacts to assist. When relevant it is also possible to view and approve the gemstone prior to purchasing.
