Tetbury Cotswolds main street

Tetbury shops & independents

I’m not originally from Tetbury (I’m a toon lass) but when we were looking for a place to settle and open a business after a stint in Singapore and before that London we decided on Tetbury. One of the biggest deciding factors was how many amazing independent shops, cafes and other businesses there are in the town. It’s so lovely to go to a town that is different and interesting and not full of chains. It’s a real '‘I could do all my Christmas shopping here”. I see a lot of visitors from places like Bath, Bristol and London and they all comment on how many independent shops and small businesses there are. Here are a few of my favourite (but this not an exhaustive list there are lots more)!

Tetbury is lovely town in the Cotswolds, really beautiful and well worth a visit. Get all your Christmas shopping done in one hit or buy yourself a gift. Let’s support our local small independent shops and businesses or we will lose them! One of my absolute favourites recently closed - Anna Lizzo. Tetbury is renowned for its selection of antique shops (which are truly fabulous) but there is so much more too.
